Hey guys!
Happy New Week!!!

Hope you had a great weekend? My weekend was awesome! I visited one of my closest friends yesterday and we had such a beautiful time catching up. His name is Hameed and he owns and designs the Hingees shirts from this post. There’s more to come from Hingees this year. Trust me guys, YOU’LL LOVE IT.

Were you able to see any of the movies from my last post over the weekend? If you missed it, go read it now! There are really great movie insights for entrepreneurs, I promise.

Today’s word for the week is AMEN.

Religious sentiments aside, I think this word should always come up in our vocabulary everyday – it should even become an unconscious part of our lives and decisions.

As an assertion to something working out for good in terms of expectations or results, Amen creates this feeling of optimism towards those big risks and steps that we, as humans tend to feel when we see our lives heading a different and better destination.

Honestly, I've never thought of adding this word to my daily vocabulary till I started writing this post and I'm absolutely willing to start doing that. You can also do that. It’ll be our thing…hehe! There’s also the religious/spiritual advantage it poses for us – a higher authority that will guide us through those paths we want to take.

P.S:  If you’re an aspiring Graphic Designer,/Art Director, Copywriter or Entrepreneur and in Ibadan or you can make it down there, then the Ibadan Creative Workshop is for you. It’s coming up on the 16th of this month and you don’t want to miss it. Three of my friends who are fantastic at their jobs will be there! Please see poster for details.

If you meet anyone of them, tell them you got the info from my blog! Their names are Hameed Okunade, Fu’ad Lawal, Wahab Abubakar.

What do you think about the impact of this word on our lives?
What does “Amen” mean to you?

So after reading this post from Naijagirlnextdoor, I decided to create my own look.

My impatience set in, but even it wasn’t enough to not let me be great). It’s really pretty and I got fantastic comments on it. I definitely recommend it as a go-to protective style.

Hi guys!

Happy hump day! Hope your week has been looking good? I've had my hands on quite a few things lately (exciting news coming soon). One of these exciting things however, include planning my posts with the Cassie Daves Blog Planner ( and planning the review) hehe.
.
Walahi, truth be told ehn... I don't plan my posts. At all. I've tried sometimes with my laptop and phone, but don't even remember to check. Using the planner though, I've had ideas flowing at me because it has this "creative guide" kind of feeling that just makes you want to do more with your personal space!

I left it in its packaging for days hehe... It was so fine, I couldn't open it for a while *face palm*

It also came with this cute little note, I was like awwww when I saw it, you rock, Cassie!

Did I mention it was affordable?

The design alone is just so cool.

You can plan your posts for the entire month and even get to add some jara if you want. See what I did with mine :) Peep today's plan *grins*

It also has inspiring quotes on the cover page of every month. Tells you there's awesomeness waiting to be created for the whole month!

The idea page is awesome. Goals can be planned and reviewed on another page at the end of the month too. There's also a great checklist to help with great social media improvement

You could plan shoots ahead. One of my favorite pages!

There's time to plan for a list of potential guests to feature so you can contact them early. It came with this cute little note that has 50! ideas for blog posts. In fact, this blog post came from there and subsequent ones will come from it too. You see the help its bringing already?

I really enjoy using this planner. Can't stress that enough. For details on how to get this planner, kindly go over to Cassie's blog. It's pre-order too so you can place your order on time. The process is seamless.

Berry also did a review of the planner here. Check it out :)

Do you have the Cassie Daves Blog Planner?  What are your thoughts?

Hi guys!
How do you like my new blog look? I mentioned in my last post that I was undergoing some research on how to make the blog look better. By the way, did you enjoy the playlist?
I've made a few changes compared to what it looked like before, so Yay or nay? I'll really love to hear from you (Silently praying : please let it be Yay)
Word for the week is something I've started, where I look for positive words to motivate your Monday or your week's success. Do you think it's a good idea?

***
Feasible:
When I'm working on something and I want to include a certain measure that I think might work, for example, I decided to print thank you cards to go with every delivery of the clothes I make. These cards will have my contact information on them and also a lovely sentence thanking the client for their purchase.
I began to ask myself if that measure was feasible because I had to cut costs at the time and couldn't afford to print cards that might not work. I won't lie to you, guys. I don't even know if the card is working or not. I just know I've gotten my name out there somehow.
Feasibility is important for great steps. You just have to refine your decisions in the best possible way that you can for your sake and for other people's sake. I wish you immense success in your positive endeavors!
I hope you have a jolly feasible week!

P. S: How do you like my new blog name? I think it's better than the previous name. LO is an acronym for my name (Lola Ogunnupebi) and I think the word Sincerely just makes it feel more original. You like?

Till next time,

Yay it's a new month! And a Friday too - Friyay!
2016 has been quite eventful for me so far, how has yours been? If it hasn't been looking according to plan yet - don't worry, success is just around the corner!

For the first time, I started using the Cassie Daves Blog Planner (Review coming up soon) and right from the ordering to the delivery process, it was a truly jolly ride. I won't lie, I've been getting really creative with that planner, thanks Cassie! If you want to purchase it but need a convincing review, not to worry! Berry has written one here and really, I recommend this planner.

I'm also working on a new design for the blog and economic ways to make my posts look really good. Still researching, but I'll put in some links in later posts for those who would like to check out some great tips.

So I've selected a total of 5 songs for this week's playlist in no particular order:

1. Mark My Words - Justin Beiber

Source

2. Remedy - Adele

Source

3. Ayo - Femi Leye

Source

4. All I Want Is You - Banky W Featuring Chidinma

Source

5. Start Again - Falana

P.S: These selections were made from my playlist and I fought so hard to not include Ed Sheeran in the mix. People that know me well understand my huge love for Ed, hehe.

I hope you have fun with the playlist this weekend!

Till next time,

Love,
LO xx
